is honored with Vision and Achievement Award
from Mental Health Association

Kim DeRosa-Budrewicz, director of SERV Centers Passaic County, recently received the Vision and Achievement Award from the Mental Health Association in Passaic County.
Ms. Budrewicz was honored during the Association’s 25th Anniversary and 7th Annual Vision and Achievement Awards Dinner on June 8 at Riverside Manor Restaurant in Paterson.
The award is given to leaders who have made significant contributions in the fields of education, health care, mental health, religion, media, politics, business or law enforcement, and have demonstrated personal vision and achievement that have significantly improved the lives of people in Passaic County. Ms. Budrewicz was one of five individuals honored.
“Kim certainly deserves to be recognized for her leadership
in Passaic County in the delivery of services to a vulnerable
population,” said Bill O’Brien, COO of SERV Centers New Jersey.
“I wholeheartedly agree that Kim has developed a leadership
style that is effective and recognized by all in the county.”
Ms. Budrewicz joined SERV as a residential counselor in 1993,
and in 1995 became a clinician, and subsequently, a Clinical
Coordinator, in SERV-Union. She was named Director of SERV
Centers-Passaic in 2001.
She is affiliated with many professional organizations, including the N.J. Association of Mental Health Agencies: Coalition of Residential Providers, for which she is vice president.
